Petter Schölander is a multidisciplinary artist based in London. As a Swede and an assimilated Sámi (the Indigenous people of north Europe), his practice has shifted over the years from the music industry towards the questions he carries from his own Sámi family history and the escalating issues facing the Sámi people in Sweden today.
He works through both personal projects as well as his creative framework Samoota.
